Poverty Profile of Maluku Province 2019

Poverty today has become a strategic issue that has received widespread attention, not only from the government but also from academics, observers and even politicians. So far, data related to poverty is still not available in a comprehensive manner and is able to meet the specific needs of local governments and society in general. Therefore, one of the important aspects that must be in place in order to support poverty reduction efforts that are inclusive and on target is the availability of poverty data that is accurate and able to answer the needs of policy makers and policy makers.The Central Bureau of Statistics issues poverty data twice annually, namely portraits of poverty in March and September. This publication was prepared in order to support local governments and other concerned and active parties in poverty alleviation efforts because it not only presents the number and percentage of poor people at the provincial level, but also presents a picture of poverty down to the district / city level.
