Abstract

Maluku's exports in June 2024 reached US$ 16.12 million or increased by around 2,393.37 percent compared to May 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value from January to June 2023 was US$ 33.42 million or decreased by around 17.23 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku's exports in June 2024 came from the oil and gas and non-oil and gas sectors.
Maluku's export destination countries in June 2024 were to ASEAN member countries worth US$ 0.59 million and other Asian countries worth US$ 15.51 million. The largest exports were to China worth US$ 15.14 million.
The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from Maluku's outer ports in June 2024 reached US$ 0.56 million or decreased by 85.44 percent compared to May 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported through Maluku's outer ports from January to June 2024 reached US$ 12.64 million or decreased by around 46.80 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku's imports in June 2024 reached US$ 57.47 million or increased by around 188.76 percent compared to imports in May 2024 (US$ 19.90 million).
Cumulatively, the import value from January to June 2024 reached US$ 233.53 million or increased by around 120.92 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
The countries of origin of Maluku's imports in June 2024 were Singapore and Vietnam. The largest import came from Singapore with a value of US$ 48.64 million.
