Abstract

Maluku's exports in July 2024 reached US$ 0.41 million or decreased by around 97.43 percent compared to June 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value from January to July 2023 was US$ 33.83 million or decreased by around 26.99 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku's exports in July 2024 came from the non-oil and gas sector.
Maluku's export destination countries in July 2024 were to ASEAN member countries worth US$ 0.36 million and other Asian countries worth US$ 0.05 million. The largest exports were to Thailand worth US$ 0.21 million.
The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from Maluku's outer ports in July 2024 reached US$ 5.27 million or an increase of 834.85 percent compared to June 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported through Maluku's outer ports from January to July 2024 reached US$ 17.92 million or a decrease of around 40.03 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku's imports in July 2024 reached US$ 68.78 million or an increase of around 19.67 percent compared to imports in June 2024 (US$ 57.47 million).
Cumulatively, the import value from January to July 2024 reached US$ 302.32 million or an increase of around 145.61 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
The countries of origin of Maluku's imports in July 2024 were Singapore, Malaysia and China. The largest import came from Singapore with a value of US$ 49.68 million.
Commodities imported in July 2024 were oil and gas and non-oil and gas sectors.
Imports in July 2024 were through Yos Sudarso Port, Ambon and Wahai Port in Central Maluku.
