Abstract

Maluku's exports in May 2024 reached US$ 0.65 million or decreased by around 63.82 percent compared to April 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value from January to May 2023 was US$ 17.30 million or a decrease of around 27.22 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku's exports in May 2024 will come from the non-oil and gas sector.
The destination country for Maluku's exports in May 2024 will only be to Hong Kong worth US$ 0.65 million.
The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku in May 2024 reached US$ 3.87 million or an increase of 403.53 percent compared to April 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported through ports outside Maluku from January to May 2024 reached US$ 12.08 million or decreased by around 46.42 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku imports in May 2024 reached US$ 19.90 million or decreased by around 57.47 percent compared to imports in April 2024 (US$ 46.80 million).
Cumulatively, the import value from January to May 2024 reached US$ 176.06 million or an increase of around 97.62 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
The countries of origin for Maluku imports in May 2024 are Singapore and Malaysia.
The largest import came from Malaysia with a value of US$ 15.02 million.
The only commodities imported in May 2024 will be the oil and gas sector.
Imports in May 2024 will all be via Yos Sudarso Port.
