Abstract

Maluku's exports in May 2022 reached US$ 7.90 million, an increase of around 107.62 percent compared to exports in April 2022.
Cumulatively, Maluku's export value from January to January. May 2022 amounted to US $ 14.12 million or an increase of about 40.91 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
Maluku's exports in May 2022 came from the non-oil and gas sector.
Maluku's export destinations in May 2022 are Singapore, Japan, China and Australia. The largest export to China was US$ 7.52 million.
The total value of commodity exports from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku in May 2022 reached US$ 2.55 million, down 36.87 percent compared to April 2022.
Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku from January to January. May 2022 reached US$ 11.09 million, an increase of 64.21 percent over the same period in 2021.
Maluku imports in May 2022 reached US$ 10.17 million, a decrease of around 56.12 percent compared to imports in April 2022 (US$ 23.17 million).
Cumulatively, the import value of Maluku from January to May 2022 reached US$ 108.41 million, an increase of 130.27 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
During January-May 2022, the countries of origin for Maluku imports are Singapore, Malaysia and China. The largest import came from Singapore with a value of US$ 89.48 million.
