Abstract
September 2020 the level of expenditure inequality of the Maluku population as measured by the Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.326. Compared to March 2020, Maluku's Gini Ratio in September 2020 increased by 0.008 points, March was recorded at 0.318. The Gini Ratio of September 2020 in urban areas decreased by 0.003 points, while in rural areas it experienced an increase of 0.001 points when compared to March 2020. In September, the distribution of expenditures for the lowest 40 percent of the population was 20.63 percent. This means that population expenditure is still in the low level of inequality category. If broken down by region, in urban areas the figure was 22.05 percent and for rural areas the figure was 23.51 percent. Both are in the low level of inequality category.
