Abstract

September 2019 the level of disparity in Maluku's population expenditure measured using the Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.320. Compared to March 2019 the Maluku Gini Ratio in September 2019 decreased by 0.004 points, March recorded at 0.324. The September 2019 Gini Ratio in urban areas decreased by 0.005 points while the rural areas experienced an increase of 0.003 points when compared to March 2019. In September 2019, the distribution of expenditure for the lowest 40 percent population group was 20.97 percent. This means that population expenditure is still in the category of low inequality. When broken down by region, in urban areas the figure was 23.05 percent and for rural areas the figure was 23.00 percent. Both are included in the category of low inequality.
