Abstract
September 2017 the level of inequality of Maluku population expenditure
measured using Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.321. Compared to March 2017, the
Gini Ratio of Maluku in September 2017 decreased by 0.022 points, March
recorded at 0.343. The September 2017 Gini Ratio in urban and rural areas both
decreased by 0.026 points and 0.022 points when compared to March 2017.
In September 2017, the
distribution of the lowest 40 percent population expenditure was 20.34 percent.
This means that the population expenditure is still in the category of low
level of inequality. Specified by region, in urban areas the figure is 21.05
percent and for rural areas the figure is 22.09 percent. Both are categories of
low inequality.
