Commemoration of the 207th birthday of the national hero Pattimura in 2024

Today (15/5) the Maluku Provincial Government held a Ceremony to Commemorate the 207th Birthday of National Hero Pattimura in 2024 which took place full of wisdom. Taking place at Pattimura Park - Ambon, this activity was attended by Forkopimda, DPRD Leaders, Acting Mayor of Ambon, OPD Leaders of Maluku Province and Ambon City, Women's Organizations, Religious Leaders and Latupati which was opened directly by the Acting Governor of Maluku, Sadali Ie. Also present at the commemoration was the BPS Maluku Province Associate Expert Statistician, Laurenz Imanuel Kastanja.

In his speech, Sadali said that the 207th Pattimura Day commemoration was a spirit of nationalism for youth to make Maluku Progress towards a Golden Indonesia. Maluku youth must have an attitude of willingness to sacrifice, patriotism, love for their homeland, responsibility, fight without giving up for the progress of Maluku and Indonesia's homeland. Apart from that, we also need superior young people who master technology, are professionals in their field and have character. “Old Pattimura may die, but young Pattimura will continue this struggle. We are optimistic that Maluku will have a good future. "Indonesia without Maluku is not Indonesia," he stressed.
