The Central Statistics Agency of Maluku Province carried out the Socialization of the Results of the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) of the Maluku Provincial Government in 2024. This activity took place in the Hall of the Maluku Provincial Governor's Office - 6th floor and was attended by the Acting Regional Secretary of Maluku Province, Syuryadi Sabirin, Head of the Maluku Provincial BPS, Maritje Pattiwaellapia and Representatives of related Services/Agencies within the Maluku Province.
In her welcome speech, Maritje conveyed the importance of this activity because it can provide a comprehensive picture of the implementation and achievements of the 2024 EPSS of the Maluku Provincial Government. "The socialization of the EPSS results also discusses recommendations for improvement so that the quality of the implementation of sectoral statistics within the Maluku Provincial Government continues to improve," she said. She also added that good cooperation and collaboration from all parties are highly expected for better implementation of sectoral statistics in the future.
In his remarks, Syuryadi emphasized that the Statistical Development Index (IPS), which is the output of the EPSS activity, will provide an overview of the level of maturity of sectoral statistics in government agencies. IPS is also an indicator of Bureaucratic Reform and a measure of the implementation of One Data Indonesia. He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Maluku Provincial Communication and Information Service as the data custodian, the Maluku Provincial BAPPEDA as the secretariat of the SDI Forum, as well as the Maluku Provincial Tourism Service and the Maluku Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Service who have jointly participated in the implementation of the 2024 EPSS. In addition, appreciation was also given to the Maluku Provincial BPS for the continuous guidance of sectoral statistics for OPDs within the Maluku Provincial Government.
This socialization activity was continued with the presentation of the material on the results of the 2024 EPSS of the Maluku Provincial Government by the Middle Expert Computer Technician of the Maluku Provincial BPS, Agusthina Rieuwpassa. This presentation was delivered clearly regarding the implementation mechanism of the 2024 EPSS to the achievement of EPSS results and recommendations for improvement.
