Human Development Index of Maluku Province 2023

The main objective of development is to create an environment that allows people to enjoy a long, healthy life and lead a productive life. The Human Development Index (HDI) explains how people can access development results in obtaining income, health, education, and so on. The HDI figures are presented at the Maluku Province and district/city levels. The presentation of the HDI by district/city allows districts/cities to know the map of human development, both achievements, positions, and disparities between districts/cities in Maluku. Thus, each district/city is expected to be motivated to improve development performance by increasing the basic capacity of the population.
