Human Development Index in Maluku Province 2021

The main goal of development is to create an environment that allows people to enjoy long, healthy and productive lives. The Human Development Index (HDI) explains how the population can access development outcomes in terms of income, health, education, and so on. HDI figures are presented at the Maluku Province and district/city levels. The presentation of HDI by district/city allows districts/cities to know the map of human development in terms of achievements, positions, and disparities between districts/cities in Maluku. Thus, each district/city is expected to be motivated to improve development performance by increasing the basic capacity of the population.
