Human Development Index of Maluku Province 2017

The main purpose of development is to create an environment that allows people to enjoy long life, health and productive lives. The Human Development Index (HDI) explains how the population can access the results of development in obtaining income, health, education, and so on.HDI figures are presented at the Maluku Province and district / city level. The HDI presentation according to the district / city allows the district / city to know the human development map in terms of achievement, position, and disparity between districts / cities in Maluku. Thus, each district / city is expected to be encouraged to improve development performance through increasing the basic capacity of the population.
