Maluku Provincial Human Development Index 2019

The main objective of development is to create an environment that allows people to enjoy longevity, health, and lead productive lives. The Human Development Index (HDI) explains how the population can access the results of development in obtaining income, health, education, and so on.

HDI figures are presented at the level of Maluku Province and district / city. Presentation of HDI according to regency / city enables regencies / cities to know the map of human development both achievement, position and disparity between regencies / cities in Maluku. Thus, each district / city is expected to be encouraged to improve development performance through increasing the basic capacity of the population.
