The high commitment of the government in developing Indonesia's democracy and politics must be supported by empirical data which can be used as a basis for making policies and formulating specific and accurate strategies. The Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) was compiled to meet these needs.IDI is a composite index that measures democratic behavior from four elements, namely the executive, legislative, judiciary and the wider community, so that the high and low values ​​of the IDI of an area is the responsibility of all parties.
