The Gender Inequality Index (IKG) in 2022 was 0.527, an increase of 0.006 points compared to 2021 which was 0.521.
This increase was influenced by achievement inequality in the empowerment dimension and the labor market dimension, as well as one indicator of the reproductive health dimension, namely the proportion of women aged 15-49 years who at the time of their first live birth were <20 years old.
The decline/improvement in the reproductive health dimension was influenced by the proportion of women who gave birth not in a health facility (MTF) which tended to decrease/improve.
