Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Province in February 2022 was 104.50 or an increase of 0.07 percent compared to January 2022 which was recorded at 104.43. The increase in NTP was caused by the price index of agricultural production (It) which was recorded to be stable at 0.00 percent compared to the price index purchased by farmers (Ib) which decreased by 0.07 percent.
In February 2022, Maluku Province was in 20th place out of 34 provinces with an NTP of 104.50. The highest NTP occurred in Riau Province at 153.64; while the lowest NTP occurred in the province of Bali at 94.33.
There are three sub-sectors that experienced an increase in FTT, namely the food crops sub-sector (1.06 percent), the horticulture sub-sector (0.05 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector (1.93 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decrease in FTT, namely the people's plantation sub-sector (-0.77 percent) and the livestock sub-sector (-0.07 percent).
In February 2022, there was a -0.09 percent decrease in household household income.
The NTUP of Maluku Province in February 2022 decreased by -0.14 percent compared to January 2022, from 110.87 to 110.72.
