Abstract

In November 2020, out of 90 CPI cities in Indonesia, 83 cities experienced inflation and 7 cities experienced deflation.

The highest inflation occurred in Tual City at 1.15 percent. The lowest inflation occurred in the City of Bima at 0.01 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Kendari with 0.22 percent. The lowest deflation occurred in Meulaboh City and Palopo City with 0.01 percent.

Ambon City experienced deflation of 0.18 percent with a CPI of 105.59. The city of Tual experienced inflation of 1.15 percent with the CPI of 106.83.

Out of 90 CPI Cities, Ambon City's CPI ranking dropped to 27th, while Tual City rose to 6th position.Monthly inflation in Ambon City was ranked 89th, calendar year inflation ranked 81, year-on-year inflation ranked 82. Monthly inflation Tual City is in the 1st rank, calendar year inflation is ranked 11th, year-on-year inflation is ranked 12th.

The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced a price decline and contributed the largest to the deflation of Ambon City in November 2020, including: flying fish, skipjack tuna, bottled water, kale, red chilies, mango, tuna fish, green mustard greens, bird's eye chilies, carrots.

The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price increases contributed the largest to Tual City inflation in November 2020 including: tuna, household fuel, flying fish, anchovies, white snapper, shallots, squid, tomatoes, papaya, and eggs.
