Abstract

  • In September 2022, out of 90 CPI cities in Indonesia, 88 cities experienced inflation and 2 cities experienced deflation.
  • The highest inflation occurred in the City of Bukittinggi at 1.87 percent. The lowest inflation occurred in Merauke City at 0.07 percent. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Manokwari City at 0.64 percent and the lowest occurred in Depok City and Timika City at 0.59 percent.
  • Ambon City experienced inflation of 0.30 percent with a CPI of 114.99. Tual City experienced 1.02 percent inflation with a CPI of 115.00.
  • Of the 90 CPI cities, Ambon City's CPI ranking fell to 15th place while Tual City's CPI ranking rose to 14th position. Ambon City's monthly inflation was ranked 87th, calendar year inflation was ranked 64th, year-on-year inflation was ranked 6th. -30. Tual City's monthly inflation ranked 52nd, calendar year inflation ranked 76th, year-on-year inflation ranked 86th.
  • The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price increases or contributed to the largest contribution to inflation in Ambon City in September 2022 include: gasoline, urban transportation fares, non-foreman artisans, mango, vegetable soup, red chili, sweet bread, bottled water, martabak. and chicken eggs.
  • The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price increases or contributed the largest to Tual City's inflation were: gasoline, air transportation fares, household fuel, rice with side dishes, urban transportation fares, anchovies, broiler chicken, baronang fish, papaya and kale.
