Abstract
The
Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Maluku Province in quarter IV-2018 amounted to
116.31, meaning that the economic conditions of consumers experienced an
increase with optimism which also increased compared to the previous quarter.
The increase in consumer economic conditions was driven by
increased household income (index value 115.45), as well as an increase in the
link between inflation and daily food consumption (index value 116.27) which
did not affect the increase in household consumption of food and non-food items
(value index 118.43).
The
ITK value of Maluku Province in the first quarter of 2019 is estimated at
103.40. This means that the condition of the consumer
economy is expected to experience an increase in the first quarter of 2019 with
a level of optimism that is slowing down.
