Consumption of Calorie and Protein for Maluku Population 2021

Achieving a sustainable increase in people's welfare is the goal of various programs and policies prepared by the government. One of the main focuses is national development to achieve food sovereigntyThe Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as a government agency in charge of providing data and information for development planning and evaluation takes part in the implementation of these objectives. In accordance with its main duties and functions as a provider of basic statistics, BPS through the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) collects household consumption data that can be presented according to commodity groups, as well as their content (calories and protein). This data can be used by the government in measuring the development of people's consumption levels and from there the nutritional level of the community can also be calculated.The Central Statistics Agency for Maluku Province this year published the publication of Calorie and Protein Consumption of the Maluku Population 2021 which contains data on the consumption and expenditure of the population in Maluku according to the March 2021 Susenas. . From here it can also be seen the average population expenditure for food and non-food consumption. We hope that this publication can provide information regarding the level of consumption and expenditure of the population in Maluku and be used in planning and evaluating health development and improving nutrition for the population in Maluku.
