Consumption of Calories and Protein Population Maluku 2019

Achieving sustainable improvement in people's welfare is the goal of various programs and policies developed by the government. One of its main focuses is national development to achieve food sovereignty.
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as a government agency tasked with providing data and information for planning and evaluation of development takes part in implementing these objectives. In accordance with their main duties and functions as a provider of basic statistics, BPS through the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) collects household consumption data that can be presented according to commodity groups, as well as their contents (calories and protein). This data can be used by the government in measuring the development of the level of public consumption and from there also can be calculated the level of community nutrition.
The Central Statistics Agency of Maluku Province this year published the publication of the Calorie and Protein Consumption of the Population of Maluku 2019 which contained data on consumption and expenditure of the population in Maluku according to the Susenas March 2019. From this publication, it can be seen the level of calorie and protein consumption of Maluku residents up to the district / city level . From this it is also known the average population expenditure for food and non-food consumption. We hope this publication can provide information related to the level of consumption and expenditure of the population in Maluku and be used in planning and evaluating the health development and nutrition improvement of the population in Maluku.
