Calorie and Protein Consumption of Maluku Population 2017

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as a government agency tasked with providing data and information for development planning and evaluation also takes part in implementing the priority agenda. According to its main tasks and functions as providers of basic statistics, BPS through the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) collects household consumption data that can be presented according to food groups to commodity groups, as well as their contents (calories and protein). This data can be used by the government in measuring the development of the level of public consumption and from there also can be calculated the level of nutrition of the community.The Maluku Province Central Bureau of Statistics this year published the 2017 Maluku Population and Calorie Consumption publication which contains data on consumption and population expenditure in Maluku in accordance with the March 2017 Susenas condition. . From here also can be known the average population expenditure for food consumption and non-food. We hope this publication can provide information regarding the level of consumption and population expenditure in Maluku and is utilized in planning and evaluating health development and improving nutrition of the population in Maluku
