Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Maluku Province Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in November 2023 was 106.35 or an increase of 0.57 percent compared to October 2023 which was recorded at 105.75. The increase in NTP was caused by the agricultural production price index (It) which was recorded to have increased by 0.22 percent and a decrease in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) which was recorded at 0.34 percent.
In November 2023, Maluku Province will be in 26th place out of 34 provinces with an NTP of 106.35. The highest NTP occurred in Bengkulu Province at 157.42; while the lowest NTP occurred in East Nusa Tenggara Province at 97.54.
It was recorded that four subsectors experienced an increase in NTP, namely the food crops subsector (0.63 percent), the horticulture subsector (1.61 percent), the smallholder plantation crops subsector (0.69 percent), the livestock subsector (0.22 percent). Meanwhile, one other subsector experienced a decline in NTP, namely the fisheries subsector (-1.18 percent).
In November 2023, the IKRT will decrease by 0.37 percent.
Maluku Province's NTUP in November 2023 experienced an increase of 0.20 percent compared to October 2023, namely from 112.85 to 113.07.
