Maluku's exports in October 2023 reached US$ 1.64 million or decreased by around 74.70 percent compared to September 2023.
Cumulatively, Maluku's export value from January to October 2023 was US$ 55.44 million or a decrease of around 11.49 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
Maluku's exports in October 2023 will come from the non-oil and gas sector.
Maluku's export destination countries in October 2023 are Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, China and the United States. The largest export was to Japan worth US$ 0.81 million.
The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku in October 2023 reached US$ 0.29 million or decreased by 94.15 percent compared to September 2023.
Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported through ports outside Maluku from January to October 2023 reached US$ 36.80 million or an increase of around 24.71 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
Maluku imports in October 2023 reached US$ 39.11 million or an increase of around 36.26 percent compared to imports in September 2023 (US$ 28.70 million).
