Abstract

The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Maluku in January 2023 reached 27.90 percent, down 11.57 points compared to December 2022. When compared to the TPK of star hotels in January 2022 which was recorded at 40.36 percent, the TPK of star hotels in Maluku also decreased by around 12.46 points.
The room occupancy rate (TPK) of other accommodations in Maluku in January 2023 reached 15.10 percent, down 3.82 points compared to December 2022.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in Maluku in January 2023 was 2.40 days, down 1.61 points compared to December 2022. When compared to the same period in 2022, on the contrary there was an increase in the length of stay of foreign guests by 0.90 point.
The average length of stay of domestic guests at star hotels in Maluku in January 2023 was 1.62 days, down 0.26 points compared to December 2022. When compared to the same period in 2022, there was also a decrease in the average length of stay of domestic guests by 0.95 points.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at other accommodations in Maluku in January 2023 was 3.73 days, down 0.06 points compared to December 2022.
The average length of stay of domestic guests at other accommodations in Maluku in January 2023 was 1.34 days, or decreased by 0.15 points compared to December 2022. When compared to the same period in 2022, there was also a decrease in the average length of stay by 0. .19 points.
