Abstract

  • In October 2022, out of 90 CPI cities in Indonesia, 29 cities experienced inflation and 61 cities experienced deflation.
  • The highest inflation occurred in Bukittinggi at 0.76 percent. The lowest inflation occurred in Sintang City, Cilacap City and Gorontalo City at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Manokwari City at 0.64 percent and the lowest occurred in Sampit City at 0.01 percent.
  • Ambon City experienced deflation of 0.12 percent with a CPI of 114.85. Tual City experienced a 1.35 percent deflation with a CPI of 113.45.
  • Of the 90 CPI cities, Ambon City CPI ranking rose to 14th place while Tual City's CPI ranking dropped to 36th position. Ambon City's monthly inflation was ranked 46th, calendar year inflation was ranked 63rd, year-on-year inflation ranked 6th. -30. Tual City's monthly inflation ranked 88th, calendar year inflation ranked 89th, year-on-year inflation ranked 87th.
  • The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price declines or contributed to the largest contribution to deflation in Ambon City in October 2022 were: kale, cayenne pepper, skipjack tuna/scaled fish, mustard greens, spinach, cell phones, shallots, red chilies, mangoes. and long beans.
  • The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price declines or contributed to the largest contribution to the deflation of Tual City were: tuna/ambu-ambu fish, scad fish/benggol fish, household fuel, baronang fish, shallots, mackerel/bloated fish , purebred chicken eggs, purebred chicken meat, bubara fish and cooking oil.
