Abstract

Maluku's exports in August 2022 reached US$ 0.08 million or decreased by about 98.93 percent compared to exports in July 2022.
Cumulatively, Maluku's export value from January to January. August 2022 amounted to US$ 48.39 million or an increase of around 44.27 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
Maluku's exports in August 2022 came from the non-oil and gas sector.
Maluku's export destinations in August 2022 are Thailand, Singapore, Japan, China and the Netherlands. The largest export to Japan was US$ 0.04 million.
The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku in August 2022 reached US$ 2.57 million, down 42.08 percent compared to July 2022.
Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku was from January to January. August 2022 reached US$ 21.30 million, an increase of 112.02 percent over the same period in 2021.
Maluku imports in August 2022 reached US$ 5.57 million, an increase of around 1,397.74 percent compared to imports in July 2022 (US$ 0.37 million).
