Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Province in July 2022 was 105.47 or an increase of 0.50 percent compared to June 2022 which was recorded at 104.95. The increase in NTP was caused by the price index of agricultural production (It) which was recorded to increase by 1.40 percent and the increase in the price index purchased by farmers (Ib) by 0.89 percent.
In July 2022, Maluku Province was in 15th place out of 34 provinces with an NTP of 105.47. The highest NTP occurred in West Kalimantan Province at 128.04; while the lowest NTP occurred in the province of East Nusa Tenggara at 94.52.
There are three sub-sectors that experienced an increase in FTT, namely the horticultural crop sub-sector (5.02 percent), the livestock sub-sector (0.89 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector (2.03 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decline in FTT, namely the food crops sub-sector (-0.32 percent) and the people's plantation sub-sector (-0.80 percent).
In July 2022 there was an increase in IKRT by 0.97 percent.
The NTUP of Maluku Province in July 2022 increased by 1.33 percent compared to June 2022, from 112.02 to 113.51.
