Abstract

In July 2022, 90 CPI Cities in Indonesia experienced inflation.
The highest inflation occurred in Kendari City at 2.72 percent. The lowest inflation occurred in Pematang Siantar City and Tanjung City at 0.04 percent.
Ambon City experienced inflation of 1.67 percent with a CPI of 113.72. Tual City experienced inflation of 1.66 percent with a CPI of 114.88.
Of the 90 CPI cities, Ambon City's CPI ranking rose to 28th and Tual City's CPI ranking rose to 13th position. Ambon City's monthly inflation was ranked 4th, calendar year inflation ranked 78th, year-on-year inflation ranked 4th. -44. Tual City's monthly inflation ranked 5th, calendar year inflation ranked 65th, year-on-year inflation ranked 67th.
The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price increases or contributed to the largest contribution to inflation in Ambon City in July 2022 were: air transportation, cayenne pepper, shallots, water spinach, white cigarettes, scad fish/benggol fish, mustard greens, cooking oil, spinach and skipjack/scale fish.
The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price increases or contributed to the largest contribution to inflation in Tual City were: tuna/ambu-ambu fish, white snapper, air transportation, shallots, rice with side dishes, cayenne pepper, baronang fish, pastries oily fish, mackerel/bloated fish and selar fish/tude.
