Abstract

  • In June 2022, out of 90 CPI cities in Indonesia, 85 cities experienced inflation and 5 cities experienced deflation.
  • The highest inflation occurred in Gunungsitoli City at 2.72 percent. The lowest inflation occurred in Pontianak City at 0.07 percent. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Kendari City at 0.61 percent and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Pandan City at 0.03 percent.
  • Ambon City experienced inflation of 0.08 percent with a CPI of 111.85. Tual City experienced inflation of 0.65 percent with a CPI of 113.00.
  • Of the 90 CPI cities, Ambon City's CPI ranking fell to 44th position, while Tual City's CPI ranking dropped to 23rd position. Ambon City's monthly inflation was ranked 84th, calendar year inflation ranked 89th, year-on-year inflation ranked 84th. Tual City's monthly inflation ranked 54th, calendar year inflation ranked 85th, year-on-year inflation ranked 54th.
  • The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price increases or contributed to the biggest contribution to inflation in Ambon City in June 2022 include: shallots, air transportation, broiler eggs, cayenne pepper, tomatoes, powdered milk, cooking oil, red snapper, cigarettes. white and hand body lotion.
  • The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price increases or contributed to the largest contribution to inflation in Tual City were: tuna/ambu-ambu fish, scad fish/benggol fish, anchovies, house contracts, shallots, white snapper, tomatoes, eggs purebred chicken, grilled fish and Muslim women's clothes.
