Abstract

The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in Maluku in May 2022 reached 31.54 percent, an increase of 5.72 points compared to April 2022. When compared to the TPK for star hotels in May 2021 which was recorded at 37.33 percent, the TPK for star hotels in Maluku also decreased by 5.79 points.
The room occupancy rate (TPK) for other accommodations in Maluku in May 2022 reached 16.66 percent, an increase of 1.59 points compared to April 2022.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in Maluku in May 2022 was 4.27 days or an increase of 0.91 points compared to April 2022. When compared to the same period in 2021, there was an increase in the length of stay of foreign guests by 3.27 points.
The average length of stay of domestic guests at star hotels in Maluku in May 2022 was 1.97 days, or an increase of 0.34 points compared to April 2022. When compared to the same period in 2021, on the contrary, there was a decrease in the average length of stay of guests. domestic by 4.22 points.
The average length of stay of foreign guests in other accommodations in Maluku in May 2022 was 2.73 days, or a decrease of 0.77 points compared to April 2022.
The average length of stay of domestic guests in other accommodations in Maluku in May 2022 was 1.68 days, or an increase of 0.12 points compared to April 2022.
