The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Province in September 2021 was 102.13 or decreased by 0.30 percent.

Abstract

  • Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
  • NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
  • The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Province in September 2021 was 102.13 or decreased 0.30 percent compared to August 2021 which was recorded at 102.43. The decrease in NTP was caused by the price index of agricultural production (It) which was recorded to decline by 0.35 percent, exceeding the decline in the price index purchased by farmers (Ib) of 0.05 percent.
  • In September 2021, Maluku Province was ranked 22nd out of 34 provinces with an NTP of 102.13. The highest NTP occurred in Riau Province at 141.32; while the lowest NTP occurred in the province of Bali at 93.00.
  • There are four sub-sectors that experienced a decrease in FTT, namely the horticulture sub-sector (-3.02 percent), the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-0.32 percent), the livestock sub-sector (-0.20 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector (-0.30 percent). ). Meanwhile, one other sub-sector experienced an increase in FTT, namely the food crops sub-sector (1.57 percent).
  • In September 2021, there was a 0.06 percent decline in the IKRT.
  • The NTUP of Maluku Province in September 2021 decreased by 0.39 percent compared to August 2021, from 108.30 to 107.87.
