NTP of Maluku Province in March 2021 amounted to 98.99, an increase of 1.12 percent.

Abstract

·    ·   The Maluku Province Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in March 2021 was 98.99, an increase of 1.12 percent compared to February 2021, which was recorded at 97.89. The increase in NTP was caused by the agricultural production price index (It) which was recorded to have increased by 1.09 percent and a decrease in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) by 0.03 percent.

·   In March 2021, Maluku Province was ranked 25th out of 34 provinces with an NTP of 98.99. The highest NTP occurred in Riau Province at 137.64, while the lowest NTP occurred in Bali Province at 91.46.

·   All sub-sectors experienced an increase in NTP, namely the food crops sub-sector (0.26 percent), the horticulture sub-sector (2.67 percent), the smallholder plantation sub-sector (1.17 percent), the livestock sub-sector (0.68 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector. (0.94 percent).

·   In March 2021, there was a decrease in the IKRT by 0.04 percent. The decrease in the IKRT was caused by the decrease in the IKRT in the food, beverage and tobacco expenditure group; clothing and footwear expenditure group; as well as the Information, communication and financial services expenditure group.

·  NTUP Maluku Province in March 2021 experienced an increase of 1.04 percent compared to February 2021, from 102.24 to 103.30.
