Economic Growth of Maluku Province in Quarter III-2020

Maluku economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) based on the prevailing prices for the third quarter of 2020 reached 11.57 trillion rupiah and at constant prices 2010 reached 7.67 trillion rupiah.

Maluku economy in the third quarter of 2020 contracted by 2.38 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the highest contraction was triggered by the transportation and warehousing category at 18.68 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest contraction was the component of foreign imports which contracted by 50.54 percent.

Maluku economy in quarter III-2020 experienced a growth of 0.83 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest growth was in the Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling business fields, namely 4.68 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was triggered by the component of foreign exports, which grew by 29.75 percent.

The economy of Maluku in the third quarter of 2020 (c-to-c) experienced a growth contraction of 0.02 percent. From the production side, the highest growth contraction was in the transportation and warehousing business sector, namely 11.49 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth contraction was in the component of Foreign Imports which contracted by 24.61 percent.
