Abstract
The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Province in February 2019 was 100.88, down 0.44 percent compared to January 2019 which was recorded at 101.33. This happened because It decreased by 0.17 percent, while Ib actually rose by 0.28 percent. 3 (three) subsectors experienced a decline in NTP: horticulture (1.70%), fisheries (1.35%), smallholder plantations (0.72%).
Agricultural commodities which experienced a decline in prices at the level of farmers / biggest contributors to the decline were: food crops: rice, sweet potatoes, peanuts, green beans; horticultural plants: galangal, ginger, cayenne pepper, red chili, red onion, tomato, cucumber, cabbage, long eggplant, breadfruit, mango, banana, orange, big orange, duku / langsat, soursop, guava; smallholder plantations: cloves, cacao, coffee; farms: pigs, goats, sheep; fisheries: mackerel, tuna, shrimp, skipjack, mackerel, sea crab, gulamah fish, snapper, japuh fish, and shellfish.
