Abstract
The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku Province in October 2018 was 100.53, or an increase of 0.47 percent compared to September 2018 which was recorded at 100.06. This increase occurred because even though it decreased on average by 0.13 percent, it was still lower than the decrease in Ib which was recorded at 0.60 percent. Subsectors that experienced an increase in NTP: food crops (2.16%), horticulture crops (1.10%), and livestock (0.66%).
Some agricultural commodities that experienced a decline in prices / contributors to the decline of It: food crops: green beans, peanuts; horticultural plants: ginger, turmeric, banana, papaya, mango, orange, zalacca, watermelon, and soursop, red onion, long eggplant, beans, cucumber, cabbage, squash; smallholder plantations: cocoa, cloves, nutmeg seeds and coffee; farms: duck eggs, domestic chicken eggs, buffalo; fisheries: skipjack fish, selar fish, sea crabs, groupers, gulamah fish, tuna fish, pompano fish, snapper fish, sea cucumbers, japuh fish, and stingrays.
