Abstract

Production of Micro and Small Industry (IMK) of Maluku Province in January-March 2018 increased by 4.10 percent compared to October-December 2017 period. Cumulatively up to March 2018, IMK production in Maluku Province increased by 8.65 percent compared to the same period last year.
This positive growth is supported by production growth in repair and installation services of machinery and equipment, furniture, non-metallic minerals, apparel, textile (woven), wood and wooden goods, and chemicals and chemical goods (eucalyptus oil) and other processing industries. During 2018 some IMKs that experienced negative growth were the printing industry, non-machinery metal goods, other transportation equipment, and beverage industries.
