Synergy: In Controlling Inflation Ahead of Christmas and New Year

Suli, Central Maluku, December 6, 2024 - Held at The Natsepa Hotel & Resort, the Maluku Provincial Government held a Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) of the Maluku Provincial Inflation Control Team (TPID) ahead of the National Religious Holidays (HBKN) of Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025. This event was opened by the Acting Governor of Maluku, Sadali Ie. In his remarks, he appealed to all regencies/cities to increase cooperation between regions in order to fulfill basic and important necessities ahead of Christmas and New Year. "Conduct monitoring, spot checks at markets and distribution centers to ensure that basic necessities and essential materials are in sufficient and safe condition and their durability will last at least until February 2025," he said.

On this occasion, the Head of the Maluku Province BPS, Maritje Pattiwaellapia, was present as one of the speakers to explain the Review of Maluku Inflation Ahead of and After HBKN Nataru. This activity was also combined with the Signing of a Joint Understanding/MoU on Inflation Control between the Maluku Provincial Government and Regional Governments throughout Maluku Province.
