DECLARATION OF NANIA VILLAGE AS A STATISTICAL LOVE VILLAGE IN 2023 IN AMBON CITY

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as the agency that develops statistical data provides guidance on the implementation of statistical activities at both the central government and regional government levels. One of the programs implemented by BPS is Desa Cantik (Village of Love Statistics). Cantik Village is the development of sectoral statistics at the village level in a sustainable and comprehensive manner.
Ambon City BPS declared Nania Village as a Beautiful Village for 2023 in Ambon City. This activity was opened by the Head of BPS Maluku Province, Maritje Pattiwaellapia, at the Nania Village Office, Ambon, on Thursday 14 September 2023. In her speech, Maritje expressed the hope that our shared dream for Nania Village could become an example of statistical governance for villages that others so that building villages with data can be achieved. “Building without data is like walking without a compass. "Hopefully this proclamation can have an impact on the development of Nania Village and also for the welfare of the people of Nania Village itself," he said.
