D-10 Ahead of the 2023 Agricultural Census

Ambon, 22/5 - The 2023 Agricultural Census Grand Event (ST2023) is getting closer, BPS throughout Maluku Province is getting busier with various outreach and training activities as preparation for the success of the census which takes place once every ten years.

It began with the Maluku Aspirations Dialogue at RRI Ambon which presented speakers from the Head of the Maluku Province BPS, Maritje Pattiwaellapia, and the Head of the Maluku Province Agriculture Service, Ilham Tauda. The dialogue took place dynamically with the opening of an interactive telephone line. "Through this event, I appeal to the public to accept the arrival of the 2023 Agricultural Census officers and to be willing to give honest answers so that the Agricultural Census data is of high quality," said Maritje.

The activities of the Head of the Maluku Province BPS continued at the Amaris Hotel in the context of opening the Complete Enumeration Officer Training ST2023 for Legal Entity Agricultural Enterprises (UPB) and Other Agricultural Businesses (UPL) organized by the Maluku Province BPS. Maritje hopes that the participants can understand the material presented by the National Instructor, share examples of cases in their respective regions as well as good approach and probing tips to get accurate data from respondents.

The 2023 Agricultural Census Officer Training held by TC Salahutu BPS Central Maluku Regency at The Nastepa Hotel - Suli was the end of the activities of the Head of BPS Maluku Province in a series of ten days ahead of the implementation of ST2023. In her remarks, Maritje emphasized that taking this training seriously is important because it forms the basis for collecting data that describes agricultural conditions down to the smallest level and becomes the basis for making good agricultural policies in the future.
