Statistics of Farmer Exchange Rate in Maluku Province 2016

The Farmers` Statistics Exchange Rate (NTP) of Maluku 2016 is a series of annual publications published by the Central Bureau of Statistics of Maluku Province. The data presented are 2016 data covering five subsectors namely Food Crops, Horticultural Plants, Smallholder Plantation, Livestock, And Fishery. NTP is used as one proxy indicator of farmer welfare level. Since December 2013, NTP is calculated using the base year of 2012 covering 33 provinces. In addition to presenting pricing data received and paid by farmers and farmers` exchange rates, this publication also presents concepts and definitions, methodologies and explanations of weighing diagrams used in the preparation of NTP. Thus the data users are expected to understand well the process of calculating the NTP as a measure of the ability of agricultural commodity exchange rates generated by farmers on goods / services consumed by farm households, and goods / services to produce agricultural commodities.
