Abstract

The economy of Maluku based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the second quarter of 2024 reached 15.48 trillion rupiah and at constant prices in 2010 reached 9.16 trillion rupiah.
The economy of Maluku in the second quarter of 2024 experienced growth of 3.12 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the mining and excavation category at 9.95 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the foreign import component which grew by 123.82 percent.
The economy of Maluku in the second quarter of 2024 experienced growth of 2.61 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest growth was in the mining and excavation business sector at 11.08 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, it was achieved by the government consumption expenditure component at 50.78 percent.
The economy of Maluku in the second quarter of 2024 (c-to-c) grew by 4.25 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the health services and social activities category at 9.07 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the foreign import component which grew by 119.57 percent.
