Abstract

The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in Maluku in April 2024 reached 29.68 percent or an increase of 0.88 points compared to March 2024. When compared with the TPK for star hotels in April 2023 which was recorded at 32.12 percent, the TPK for star hotels in Maluku decreased by around 2.44 points.
The room occupancy rate (TPK) for other accommodation in Maluku in April 2024 reached 18.02 percent or an increase of 1.20 points compared to March 2024.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in Maluku in April 2024 was 1.75 days or a decrease of 0.72 points compared to March 2024. When compared with the same period in 2023, there was also a decrease in the average length of stay of foreign guests by 0.98 points.
The average length of stay for domestic guests at star hotels in Maluku in April 2024 was 1.63 days or a decrease of 0.22 points compared to March 2024. When compared with the same period in 2023, there was also a decrease in the average length of stay for domestic guests by 0.12 points.
The average length of stay for foreign guests in other accommodation in Maluku in April 2024 was 8.04 days or an increase of 1.02 points compared to March 2024.
The average length of stay for domestic guests in other accommodation in Maluku in April 2024 was 1.37 days, the same as March 2024. When compared with the same period in 2023, on the contrary, there was an increase in the average length of stay of 0.05 points.
