Abstract

  • The room occupancy rate (TPK) for star hotels in Maluku in March 2024 reached 28.80 percent or down 4.52 points compared to February 2024. When compared with the TPK for star hotels in March 2023 which was recorded at 33.32 percent, the TPK for star hotels in Maluku also experienced a decline of around 1.14 points.
  • The room occupancy rate (TPK) for other accommodation in Maluku in March 2024 reached 16.82 percent or decreased by 0.08 points compared to February 2024.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in Maluku in March 2024 was 2.47 days or an increase of 0.56 points compared to February 2024. When compared with the same period in 2023, on the contrary there was a decrease in the average length of stay of foreign guests by 0.63 points.
  • The average length of stay for domestic guests at star hotels in Maluku in March 2024 was 1.85 days or decreased by 0.14 points compared to February 2024. When compared with the same period in 2023, on the contrary, there was an increase in the average length of stay for domestic guests by 0.11 points.
  • The average length of stay for foreign guests in other accommodation in Maluku in March 2024 was 7.02 days or an increase of 2.78 points compared to February 2024.
  • The average length of stay for domestic guests in other accommodation in Maluku in March 2024 was 1.37 days, or an increase of 0.05 points compared to February 2024. When compared with the same period in 2023, on the contrary there was a decrease in the average length of stay of 0 .10 points.
