Abstract

Maluku's exports in February 2022 reached US$ 0.66 million or decreased by around 31.05 percent compared to exports in January 2022.

Cumulatively, Maluku's export value from January to January. February 2022 amounted to US $ 1.62 million or decreased by 14.36 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

Maluku's exports in February 2022 came from the non-oil and gas sector.

Maluku's export destinations in February 2022 are Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, China, Bangladesh and the Netherlands. The largest export to Vietnam was US$ 0.43 million.

The total value of commodity exports from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku in February 2022 reached US$ 0.87 million, down 63.33 percent compared to January 2022.

Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku was from January to January. February 2022 reached US$ 3.24 million, down 324.38 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

Maluku imports in February 2022 reached US$ 29.09 million, an increase of about 43.98 percent compared to imports in January 2022 (US$ 20.21 million).

Cumulatively, the import value of Maluku from January to February 2022 reached US$ 49.30 million, an increase of 70.61 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

During January-February 2022, the countries of origin for Maluku imports are Singapore and Malaysia. The largest import came from Singapore with a value of US$ 30.62 million.
