Abstract

Maluku's exports in January 2022 reached US$ 0.96 million or decreased by about 95.12 percent compared to exports in December 2021.
When compared to exports in January 2021 of US$ 0.78 million, exports in January 2022 have increased by 22.75 percent.
Maluku's exports in January 2022 came from the non-oil and gas sector.
Maluku's export destinations in January 2022 are Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, India and the Netherlands. The largest export to Hong Kong was US$ 0.43 million.
The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku in January 2022 reached US$ 2.37 million, an increase of 54.41 percent compared to December 2021.
When compared to January 2021 (US$ 0.58 million), the value of commodity exports from Maluku through ports outside Maluku rose 309.25 percent.
Maluku imports in January 2022 reached US$ 20.21 million or decreased by around 31.08 percent compared to imports in December 2021 (US$ 29.32 million).
When compared to imports in January 2021 of US $ 13.60 million, imports in the same period in 2022 increased by 48.58 percent.
Maluku imports in January 2022 came from Singapore and Malaysia. The largest import came from Singapore with a value of US$ 11.50 million.
