Abstract

  • In February 2022, out of 90 CPI cities in Indonesia, 37 cities experienced inflation and 53 cities experienced deflation.
  • The highest inflation occurred in Kupang City at 0.65 percent. The lowest inflation occurred in Tanjung Selor City at 0.01 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan City at 2.08 percent. The lowest deflation occurred in Palangkaraya City, Tarakan City, and Palembang City at 0.01 percent.
  • Ambon City experienced a deflation of 0.44 percent with a CPI of 109.67. Tual City experienced a 1.12 percent deflation with a CPI of 109.32.
  • Of the 90 CPI cities, Ambon City's CPI ranking fell to 18th position. the 3rd. Tual City's monthly inflation ranked 87th, calendar year inflation ranked 87th, year-on-year inflation ranked 28th.
  • The 10 (ten) main commodities that experienced price declines or contributed to the largest contribution to the deflation of Ambon City in February 2022 were: scad fish, selar fish, cayenne pepper, skipjack tuna, mustard greens, tuna, spinach, mobile phone credit charges, and water spinach. .
