In April 2019, Ambon Municipality experienced deflation of 0.16 percent and Tual experienced inflation of 0.18 percent

 In April 2019 out of 82 CPI Cities in Indonesia, 77 cities experienced inflation and 5 cities experienced deflation. Ambon City experienced deflation of 0.16 percent with CPI of 131.96 and Tual City experienced inflation of 0.18 percent with CPI of 154.51.

The highest inflation occurred in Medan City at 1.30 percent with CPI 140.66 and the lowest inflation occurred in Pare-pare City by 0.03 percent with CPI of 129.45. The highest deflation occurred in Manado City at 1.27 percent with CPI of 131.74 and the lowest occurred in Maumere City at 0.04 percent with CPI of 126.03.
