Abstract

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Maluku in May 2018 reached 41.10 percent or decreased 2.97 points compared to April 2018. Similarly, when compared with the May 2012 TPK of 2017 which was recorded at 41.58 percent, ROR for star hotels in Maluku experienced decrease 0.48 points.
Non-star hotel room occupancy rate (TPK) of non-star hotels in Maluku in May 2018 reached 24.15 percent or increased by 2.38 points compared to April 2018. If compared to the TPK in May 2017 (22.30 percent), non-star hotel TPK in Maluku has increased 1.85 points. The number of foreign guests staying at star-rated hotels in Maluku during May 2018 was 495, or decreased by 26.01 percent compared to April 2018. Domestic guests totaled 9,705 people or fell 12.12 percent compared to April 2018.
